Default New plastic front

I have a work horse 1200 and the front end does not have the lights so I want to change it out so I have the front end with lights. Is there a place to buy it or swap out what I have. If it's possible to change over.

So you have a TXT style front and want an ST front end? Cowls are available and lights are too.

I believe it's just a rivet off and rivet on, it's an ezgo cowl if you want to search it and not cheap..

Correct, it is just rivets, rivet kits are available. TXT cowls used are a dime a dozen, STs, harder to find used. New both are available in multiple colors.

When You find an ST Cowl, You will also need a set of the lower plastics for each side, as well as the metal inner support bracket and brace. The swap is 7 rivets across the top, 3 on each side that connect the lowers to the actual cowl, 2 bolts on each side, one rivet on each side under the rocker panel, and 2 rivets at the front of the cowl under the nameplate that connect the cowl to the support bracket. It's about a half-hour job if You're adept at that sort of thing, figure an hour all told to pull and replace the rocker panels, install the new support, etc.

Cost-wise You'd be far ahead to keep your TXT-style cowl and install a light kit or even better an LED light bar - The light kit alone for that ST-style cowl is almost $200

Oh and make sure the rivet catches the cowl when installing. IF you miss, be careful not to, when drilling out the rivet, to drill through said cowl. Don't ask how I know ;)

Good find, didn't see that on the site - although installing an ST cowl without the appropriate brackets *will* cause it to bounce around and crack the cowl eventually (I politely refuse to say how I found that out, LOL) ...

You? Never! My daughter flipped her cart and threw her and her friend to the ground. They rolled it back over and drove it back to the house. Only reason I knew something was up was them parking it 50 ft from them house and limping into the house. Upon lifting the seat and seeing the battery upside down on the passenger side kinda gave me a hint.. But the body never got a scratch. Go figure.
