JB Weld is not gas proof and will soften and cause problems. I figured you had carburetor issues when you said your plugs are gray. A well adjusted carburetor will produce a plug with a nice caramel brown insulator with a little soot on the outer bottom edge. You can get a replacement from EBay very reasonable.

Nope, not the carb. The drive belt is off. I start the cart and at idle, it works great. If I push the pedal down the engine dies. But at idle and I can rev the motor from the carb linkage. The darn thing revs right up. But if when I am pulling on the linkage. And the motor is revved and if I push the pedal down just a bit. The motor dies.

I don't understand, what is the difference between the linkage on the carb. And the linkage from the governor? The drive belt is off. And I'm lost.

That sounds like the MS at the go pedal isn't right. If you can rev it by hand, hold it there the hit the go pedal further and it dies, it is losing spark and shutting off. Just as a test with the rear wheels in the air or at least you in the cart, key off jumper the two ms wires in the go pedal box and turn the key on. Cart should start. See if it operates normal without shutting off. If so you have a ms adjustment issue

I jumpered the throttle switch. I'll be dang, that was the problem.

Is it the because switch can't handle the increased current?

Know a good place to buy that switch? I don't look at the carb as a loss. Sooner or later that glue would have failed.

Thank you
Mark

With the key turned off and the cart in neutral look at the workings of the pedal ms and see what is happening. It act like it is working normally just off of idle but then what?

It goes click and click like it should. And it sounds good. I'll put a meter on it in the morning. It's so weird that it was my problem. I would never have found it without you people.

Thanks
Mark

I guess I meant to say is something else causing it to click again once the pedal gets off of idle.

Press the pedal down and it clicks the motor starts. But while pressing down more, it kills the motor. Put an ohm meter on it and pressed down on the pedal. The results surprised me. This is an on/off type switch isn't it?

Now, where do I go to get that switch ;)

Should be part number 25861G01

What I can't tell from video was what was happening when the pedal was pushed. Is something activating the switch again once the pedal moves farther ?
