ran great for a year then nothing
I have a 1979 Yamaha G1 that I received. It ran great until a few weeks ago when I was driving in a ditch along a highway to take things up to another farm. I hit a few large bumps but it still was running fine. I got off it at home and was putting a few things away. I got back on it an hour later but nothing would happen. Anyone have any suggestions to try?

Check all fuses first

ditto. also test battery. check all cables ends from battery to starter/gen to solenoids. make sure all are clean and not corroded.

I changed both fuses.
I changed out the battery. I checked the terminals that connect to the battery. Thanks |

if its not cranking and your getting battery voltage at your starter/gen then do the starter/gen test. This is listed on the Harley golf cart but its the same test for the Yamaha g1
