Adjust camber on standard G9?
I cannot see any way of adjusting the camber on my g9, I haven't pulled the kingpin out but it doesn't look like it offers any adjustment & the service book (assuming it is the same as the G2 book I have) just shows replacement.
I don't have any free play but do have way too much positive camber. Anyone got any ideas? Sent from my Moto Z2 Play using Tapatalk |

Worn-out or incorrect struts. There is no adjustment

By 'struts' do you mean the lower arm & or king pin? The don't think the shock strut wouldn't affect it unless it is too long (lifting front end).

Re: Adjust camber on standard G9?
With good shocks and people on the cart it should be close to level. With one arm its never perfect, its not made for large travel, its cheap and simple and reliable. If you want to change it you have to cut the arm and weld it back up, or move the pin location, or change the length of the shock, or move the shock mount to do that. Normally they angle in because the shocks are worn out, is the typical problem. If your toe in is way off it can make it want to change, if you back up it will do the opposite.

Re: Adjust camber on standard G9?
Do you have it lifted or not? and if you have it lifted, what lift are you using? Instillation of those economy lifts can be installed improper causing this. But like it was stated, positive camber isn't a bad thing, with a decent size rider and driver, it can bring it back to level, other wise, you would have negative camber which is worse.

Re: Adjust camber on standard G9?
Front isn't lifted, rear is lifted about 1.5".
It still runs quite a bit of positive camber with me on board, tyres wearing badly as a result. Sent from my Moto Z2 Play using Tapatalk |

Re: Adjust camber on standard G9?
Replace the shocks/struts may be your solution. Post some photos though, that would help, just to be sure.

Re: Adjust camber on standard G9?
camber generally doesn't wear out tires unless it is ridiculously bad, and your picture looks like acceptable camber.
How does the toe look? Slightly out of toe will cause the tires to scrub across the pavement going down the road wearing them out quickly. |
