Default Yamaha g1 pulse coil

I had a pulse coil go bad on a g1 I've been working on . So I think have a answer for everyone 's problems. I used a coil from a wave runner with a small modification. I took the ground off and ran it back for reverse. And it runs fine. 34.00 on amazon

This is interesting info. Can you described more specifically where you took the ground off and where you ran back to?

Sorry I've been working a lot but I hope this helps . You can see where I cut the ground off and then I added the green and white wire to it .
