Backfiring G22A??
I rebuilt my g22A. Came out well except I get a popping or backfire out of it. I fear I may have fouled up the cables and now the throttle isn't closed all the way allowing fuel into the cylinder prematurely. All wisdom is welcome.
Best. |

Re: Backfiring G22A??
That's where I would start...Make sure the butterfly in the carb is closing all the way.

Re: Backfiring G22A??
Most of them adjust at the pedal in the floor. Also figure out where the pedal switch turns on, and that should turn on before the carb starts to open. That should solve your issue.
