Default front wheel alignment on G1

Been working on a new to me G1 and now with a 4" lift and larger tires I'm noticing the front wheels are misaligned. Can someone help me with how I'd go about making that adjustment?

First thing you need to check is if the a arms or tie rods are bent. If so, no adjustments will make it right.

If the parts are not bent, you can adjust the tie rods to point the wheels the correct direction. Its hard to tell from the photo where it's pointed.

What I do is use a long straight edge like a 10 foot pipe or square tubing. Get a helper to hold the straight edge on the face of the tire so the straight edge is hanging out front.

Mark its position on the garage floor with chalk. Do both sides.

Take the straight edge and lay it under the cart directly in the center

Now measure from your marks to the centered straight edge.

Use those measurements when adjusting the tie rods.

You want the tires to be toe in just slightly.

Thanks... I'll give that a shot.
