1986 G1 dies but starts right back up
G’day-
Im a mechanic by trade but new to the golf cart world. I picked up a 1986 G1 and its starts good and runs good but after its been running for awhile and is warm it will cutout / die when running full throttle. As soon as I let my foot off the accelerator completely, i can push the pedal and it fires right back up. Usually it will do this a few times and then its okay if i keep it at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. I figure its likely an ignition/grounding issue or possibly crank seals but im hoping someone else has had the exact same issue and can point me in the right direction. Thanks brian |

Crank seals won't cause that. I'm betting you're right on the ignition.

Good to know, thanks for the reply. I hope to have time next week to troubleshoot.
