Default G1 Golf Cart

I have a 89 g1 golf cart that ran perfectly up until today when I went to hop on it to get it put up for the winter. The cart wouldn’t turn over in either forward or reverse but the reverse chime and the lights work. I thought it was the starter so I pulled the starter and benched tested it. Before i pulled the starter it spun in reverse after I mashed the gas pedal 5 or 6 times. After I reinstalled it I was able to get it to work in forward and reverse by mashing the pedal several times. Now I’ve got nothing, no reverse chime, lights or turn over. The battery tested good at 12.5 volts. Anyone know what’s up???

Did you load test the battery? It can have 12.5 volts at rest, but with a load it should not drop below 10.5 volts.

How do I load test the battery? I know there is a load tester but I don’t have one

Local auto parts stores will test it for free. Autozone, Oriely, Advance, Napa

At battery at 12.5 is at least weak charge and load test. Fully charged battery is 12.6

Wouldn’t you think that the lights and reverse buzzer would still work though? They were working before and after I pulled the starter and put it back on and then quit when I had everything put back where it was supposed to be
