Upgraded front end to Club Car 272...
Last year I bought a 2003 CC Carryall 272 it came with a spare front end. I took some measurements and it looked like it would bolt right on. Well tonight, I jumped in, unbolted the stock 1992 Club car front end and gave the upgrade a shot. It bolted right on...right down to the steering shaft. It may not be as high tech as a Jake's lift but the price was right, and now I can plumb in a master and have hydraulic brakes. Worst part of the job was the carriage bolts on the front bumper kept spinning...had to give it a slot job for a big screwdriver. Came out like butter after that.
The major work is done, just need to do some final tweaks and align the front end. A little shaving of the nose to clear the coilovers is needed too. I'll update some pics when I get it outside in the daylight. Next is to figure out a lift for the back. Carryall leafs and a flip kit..maybe... |

Re: Upgraded front end to Club Car 272...
Half way there.... Added the 2003 272 front braces, cowl and fenders. Push bar will be going on tomorrow. Going to order a rear flip Monday or Tuesday, that should level out the back. I still need to install the 272 dashboard and adjust the front end.
Just a small difference between stock rear and upgraded front...... |

It looks like you may want to do some adjustments on that thing those tires are sitting out quite a bit. It looks great though I bet its got a much smoother ride now!

Is a 272 like a commercialized club car? Never heard of them, It makes the cart look twice as big...

Only thing that bothers me is how unperportional it looks. What are you planning for the rear? -Austin
