Default Best winterizing routine ?

98 48 volt club car putting away for the winter in a un heated garage besides fully charging is there anything I should do during the winter ? Going to be packed away for probably 4 to 5 months .

I only remove positive and negative leads from battery pack [ 6-8volt bat's]along with setting switch in tow mode. I have done this for the past 7 yrs without any issue Jan thru May. In fact car runs immediately. It takes about 1 hr to fully charge. Cart in unheated garage. 6 -8volt batteries.

I use a smart charger 48v, leave it on when not in use.

Do you have power in the garage? If so, the stock PD charger is supposed to come on every 15 days to top off the batteries. It is not a float charger, but it will keep them charged and prevent freezing.
