Re: Turbocharged Kubota D722 - EZGO
Yep, 8:1 it is then. It doesn't need to be scary fast. I need to get the diff apart first to see what it has. Last gear set I got had the small bearing but needed large bearing....If I remember correctly.

Re: Turbocharged Kubota D722 - EZGO
Started on the Radiator cowling
Wasn't exactly sure how everything was gonna work...there's a couple "revisions" along the way. I used the factory tray mounting on the passenger side to mount it. The air is directed downwards...I originally was going to direct it rearwards towards the tire but the Radiator came with vents already pointing downwards so i went that direction. This is the mock up...changed it up quite a bit later on. |

More progress with the cowling.
One set of pics is pointing upward from bottom showing the vents....or whatever you wanna call them. |

Re: Turbocharged Kubota D722 - EZGO
Here is where I made some revisions......I originally mounted the radiator from the outside of the cowl. (see 2 posts up)...wasn't gonna work. Well...it would but was really close to the water pump pulley so I mounted it from the inside of the cowling. It fits in easily from the bottom. The radiator itself is rubber mounted.

Re: Turbocharged Kubota D722 - EZGO
And finally the test!
Fits perfect. Radiator cap is well below seat bottom. No rubbing on the body. I'm going to put some foam weatherstripping around the top and bottom of radiator...not sure if I'm going to need it though. I'll use some small expanded metal on the bottom to keep mud and stuff out. I'm considering when its all mocked up having the frame sandblasted and painted....then again I may be to excited to wait. |

Couple pics of the motor holder upper. Not sure yet if I'm set on it....thats why it has a zip tie holding it together.
