05 club car ds crankcase gasket repair.
Im going to tackle replacing the clutch side crankcase gasket. I was just wondering if you can remove the motor out through the top or seat hole. And if there are any tip or short cuts you can throw at me would be great. What clutch removal tool should I get. Im new to this site and new to golf cart repair. Thanks

Motor will come out thru the seat. I find it to be very easy.

I always pull the body off to pull the engine and you need a HARDENED "clutch puller" not the cheap gold colored ones on ebay - they will break (I just snapped one yesterday)
12mm bolts around the cover and make sure to clean off all of the old gasket and be careful not the scuff up the mating surfaces they are very soft!!! |
