Default 99 295 floods during hot soak

I have a 1999 295cc. Runs great. After driving it for a while, I let it sit for say 20 min. Then it seems like it's flooded on re-start. I have to hold the gas to the floor for it to start and then you can smell gas. Runs great once you start it. This only happens when the engine is really hot on a hot day.

Any thoughts on how to prevent this?
