Tomberlin rear end noise
Have a 2010 Tomberlin Emerg. Rear end makes a klunking sound at lower speeds (below 10mph). Jacked the rear of the cart up and noticed quite a bit of play when rotating one of the rear tires front to back.
Any thoughts on what this could be Chuck |

Re: Tomberlin rear end noise
Usually its in the motor coupler, if you hear it at partial load, or no load, that's the issue.
I have had some major differential noises, internal, but rare, and mostly gear oil related. |

Re: Tomberlin rear end noise
Thanks for the input golf cart guy:
I think you hit the nail on the head. I just had a new motor put in. Will the motor coupler trash the new motor if I don’t get it changed right away? Chuck |
