EZGO Shuttle Lift

i recently picked up a 2002 EZGO shuttle to have for a little project. the cart is completely stock and factory with the rear hydraulic brakes and 5 lug hubs. i've read a lot where people said that I would have to custom do a rear lift. I havent torn it down or anything yet to take a better look at it but just curious as to if this is true and what all doing a lift would require. I plan on just keeping it a street cart and use the 5 lug hubs to mount some car rims to. any ideas are appreciated.
