Speed kills.. governor rod/rev limiter and tires..
Thinking about making the governor/rev limiter mod to my carryall 2 with FE350 motor, and making the switch to a 22" tire. I want to limit the RPM's to 4,400 which has been mentioned here as being the highest safe RPM's.
I'd like to get more top-end speed out of it but don't want to lose a ton of bottom-end torque as I do a lot of heavy yard work with it. Has anyone else out there done these mods only (no other internal engine/clutch mods) that could tell me what kind of change I'd see in speed? Finally, a bit of cart porn for all you carryall peeps out there. She's not pretty by any means but she's become a real workhorse for us as we've recently bought a house with a large yard that needs a TON of work. Here she is with a load of topsoil, I don't know what I'd do without this cart! Someday when the dirty stuff is done around the house I'd like to get her back looking pretty but for now I don't worry about it. |

With all that dirt I bet she will pull some pretty good wheelies
