![]() diagram, never used one so I'm not sure. I figure it out like this:
Take an oHm meter, find two terminals that have resistance then don't have resistance when the key switch is turned from off to the first click Then do the same to figure out which two have, then don't have resistance only when the key is in the second position. The factory blue and red should be on the two that work off the first position and your accessory should be connected to the other two. If you're hooking up lights to the accessory position, power the lights and have the switch work the ground, not the power. |

![]() ok, this is strictly from memory but... If you look at the back of the switch in the position it would be in the dash I think the two right most terminals are for the lights. I believe B1 and L for lights and B and I for ignition.
Now for colors... If it is a factory wiring harness I think the headlights are white with a blue stripe and the other two are green and blue ?? |

![]() I know this post is old, but I'm working on the same thing... Here's a pic of mine before removing wires. This is on a 2016 TXT gas.
So it is Blue/white that's always hot goes to "L" then the other Blue/white goes to "B1" and then Light Blue goes to "I" then Green to "B" Just thought this might help someone doing a search. |

Thanks for this! I was pulling out the center cubby today and 2 wires pulled off in the process. Your pic meant I didn't have to break out the multimeter and guess which they were. |

![]() I have a 2018 Ez Go Express L6 Gas and trying to wire a 3 position harley davidson switch as an added security feature. The problem is that the harley switch only has three wires and the ezgo switch has four wires and I'm not sure how to wire it/or if i can wire it using the harley switch. I have looked high and low for a diagram for the switch, and the image above in this thread seems to come from an electric cart? Any help would be appreciated.
