Default my g16 winter project

Just got the motor back in my cart
I will keep ya updated on how it runs
Heres what i done
Cleaned up bore and added new rings
Decked the jug 0.20
Milled head 0.50
Ported the head and 3 angle valve job
Shimmed valve springs 0.60
Modded air box and rejetted carb
Plowmans 3 degree key
Next plan is to mod the stock muffler

2001 g16 me and a buddy each bought one from a local dealer
He just got them in
We paid 1400 each for them

That's about right. Another grand on motor - $2,400 for running machine. That's about what they go for around here stock.

Yep-- I guess I got spoiled when I stole that G22 on CL for $1000.

I have 275 in all the motor work
110 in the light kit
150 in paint
1935 total so far

I hope it can keep up with the old g1? She runs 36mph gps with 2 riders on flat ground
