New Switch Install Assistance
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...0946&ppt=C0335
First post, long time reader of the forum and have picked up many tips and tricks here, many thanks for all the info. so I have a gas club car ds, which we are about to start taking with us on rv trips. Because of that I would like to have a little more security, so I was thinking umique keyed switch. Called the dealer where I bought it and they recommended to just go to auto parts store and get a keyed switch. So, that's what I did. Got a 4 post ( linked above) as I figured that was "the same" as the one that came out of the club car. the three lower posts are labeled battery, accessory and ignition. The top center post is not labeled. When I wired it first with my best guess I blew a fuse. Any thoughs as to how this corresponds with the stock 1, 2, +M, -M posts?? Any guidance appreciated. |
