carb. float/needle
Hello, I have a 91 that has a re-furbished by club car tag. I have the carb out and
see that the float needle is located in a spot that is not connected to anything, no gas line in or out. The float and needle work as a air release valve? Is this correct? The gas line that feeds the carb is connected to the carb next to the float/needle. On non club car carbs that I have worked on the gas would come into the carb thru the float/needle with the other opening for overflow. I have tried to download the manual but I have dial-up. Also would a re-furbished car be different than a non refurbished? There is no date or serial # on the refurbished tag. |

Re: carb. float/needle
After lurking and googling around it looks like someone has hooked the gas line from fuel pump to the overflow connection. The hose connection on the carb for the gas coming from pump is missing.
