Default battery life

I recently bought a 1995 36v series medalist EZGO. It appears to hav the original GE 2hp motor. Not sure about the controller, looks newer but probably just 250amps. Anyway... I'm sad to say I didn't do enough research and the "4 year old" Trojan T105's are actually 10 years old. They're stamped D5. So I've since fully charged them and took them down to the basement for the winter. It's been a couple weeks now and they're consistantly reading between 6.18 and 6.22 on my multimeter. I realize that's about 70/75% state of charge but has anyone had any luck with similar results? Will I get more life out of these or should I start saving for new batteries in Spring? I will be using it to cart 3 of us around the campground. I don't need a lot of speed but there are some slight hills to climb.
Thanks in advance.
Yeabuddy!

Can I run the batteries "into the ground"? Are there any risks? Etc. Etc. Or is it just that simple... start saving my money?

Run them into the ground while saving your money. It is impressive that they still hold a charge that well being 10 years old, but the will need to be replaced soon.
