Default removing on/off switch on an 06 precedent

I just bought a stereo dashboard and I have to remove the on/off switch from the old panel and put it on the new one. I thought it would be similar to the light switch I installed awhile back, but it doesn't look like it. The only instructions that came with the dashboard was a link to a video and it didn't cover the removal of the switch.

Sorry if this has been covered already...I tried using the search function and couldn't get it to work on this tablet. I'm new to tablets, so I know the problem is with me.

No help on switch.

As for searching on a tablet. I have to use advanced search. When u click search dont try typing in box, just select advanced then you can type away.

Thank you! That worked, but I couldn't find anything pertaining to how to remove the switch. Maybe I'm not using the right keywords. Anyway, thanks for the help on using the search function on a tablet, it is very much appreciated.

If your talking about the "key switch"... there's nothing to be embarrassed about Tigerfan!

When I was getting ready to install my carbon fiber dash on my cart,
for the life of me... I couldn't find the mounting nut! I actually had to look it up in one of my CC manuals...

Who knew that the weather resistant key switch cover just snaps in and out out!?!
