Removing the cup holder
Has anyone removed the cupholder from a Tomberlin emerge. The service manual states ," unlatch the clips and lift the cup holder out". Sounds simple enough, but I can seem to find the clips. I have used a plastic puddy knife to slide along the seams, but have found no clips. Anyone ever done this before?

Re: Removing the cup holder
Ive done it before a few times. Some are very tight and some are not so tight. They pop out like a EZGO. You will have to pry up the edge, and tehn give it a good tug to pull it out. Ive never broken any clips, but I can see where it could happen. Be careful and you should be OK.

Re: Removing the cup holder
Thanks for your reply. When you say pry up the edge, are you referring to the sides or in front. Are the clips located along the front edge, or are they along the sides?
Thanks again! |

Re: Removing the cup holder
The clips are in the back, but pry up where ever you can and it will snap out.
