1993 Club Car backfires and stalls when warm.

I think i have a couple issues.

fuel pump possibly going bad

coil going bad

when driving for extended periods of time, the engine begins backfiring and then stalls out. Then trying to restart it will first roll over but once it tries to take off it dies and you have to feather the accelerator pedal to keep it alive but it still wont move. After a little more time goes by it will start and drive but only about 2-3mph, any further depression of the accelerator pedal will cause the engine to quit. if i let it sit for about an hour in the shade it will start right up and drive fine... any suggestions?

cart has new battery, micro-switches, voltage regulator, ignitor, S?G has been checked and tests good. im running last years spark plug, oil, fuel filters but have fresh fuel.

If your fuel filters are clear, next time I does it lift your seat and see if the filters are full or have ran dry. Maybe having trouble with your fuel pump. If the filters are empty check the pulse line from the motor to the pump and or replace it.

one of the times it died they were dry. i took the hose from the tank to the fuel pump off and blew back into it to make sure there wasn't anything blocking it even though the tank is clean. ill definitely try that though. thanks for the idea.
