You haven't given us a FULL reading yet.
38.2v a good 12 hrs after the charge ends.
Your load test was done on EMPTY batteries that needed a charge so it's really hard for me to offer much.

Ok just to clarify. I have now had the cart plugged in since that last load test. I will unplug tomorrow and do the load test again. Will that work?

No - you have an auto charger that cuts off on it's own when the batteries reach a preset voltage. Is that function working? If yes test batteries 12 hours after the charge ends. The reason for this is we want to know the voltage the batteries can retain from a full charge. If just 80% of full that's an indication of 20% capacity lost.
If the charger won't cut off then one of 2 problems exist.
1 is bad batteries can't reach the cut off voltage.
2 is the charger is broken and won't cut off.

Always note the pack voltage under charge before pulling the plug on a charging set. The cutoff # is between 44-46 v +/- 1v

You owe me a beer

Just for documenting I just checked and charge was reading 39.7 prior to cutting off within 5 minutes. I'll check it in the morning before I go to work should be just under 12 hours

39.7 is too low if it's about to cutoff.

This! But some chargers have a feature where they only run so long. So if it takes longer than that to reach the "cut off" voltage, it could still be OK. That's why I said this earlier in the thread.

Now I will say probably if it take multiple charges, the batteries are getting weak.

Called Trojan today to talk about my batteries and typical stuff they want me to take it somewhere and have an actual load test done by a battery place with a tester with carbon pile of something and also saying my charger may not be functioning. Typical stuff I expected when you only offer 12 month warranty anyway. The guy did say it acts like its a bad cell in one of the batteries dragging whole pack down but even if so they won't help.
