Default 2008 RXV - installed stereo and now the cart wont move

While installing a stereo to one battery I was letting the stereo run while cleaning up the wiring and I heard the solenoid or controller click twice and now the cart will not move. All batteries are over 12 volts and the solenoid is getting 48 volts. I am assuming I hit something and blew a fuse. The only fuse I found was by the run/tow switch and it was blown and replaced. It still wont move and the oem battery level gauge shows empty on a full charge. Any suggestions? Is there another fuse?

uh-oh. which fuse? did it blow again? please tell us you didnt tie into the keyswitch. if so, you may be looking for a new controller.

No I did not tie into the key switch. I directly wired it to one battery with its own fuse and on a seperate switch. The fuse that blew was the 10amp fuse right next to the run/tow switch. Are there any other fuses on the RXV? Does the controller have a fuse?

No it has not blown again. When I turn the key the solenoid clicks once but does not do the brake check thing and when I press the accelerator I don't get another solenoid click or movement.

2008 was a VERY bad year for the RXV..... That being said, you probably still have a Danaher Controller installed and really need a diagnostic handheld to troubleshoot that cart. Where are you located? Maybe a member is near you that has one and can help you out.

Here is the advanced troubleshooting guide for that controller, but again, without the handheld, it is going to be difficult to properly diagnose.

2008 RXV's are 99% the same 2009-2011
Small but real improvements were made to sol. and parking brake. Then encoder was improved/moved.
All RXV years are good carts. Just do the mods.

That being said, You may need to get a handheld to check this out.
Without more info, any troubleshooting is more akin to a WAG.
