Roadrunner motor upgrade thermostat?
I have fedex and the others visiting me every day. Very excited for my first build, and buying the stuff I want!
Anyhow so tell me, I know about much of nothing. I do know in general all motors can run hot. Is there an auto shutoff built into these roadrunner motors, can you install a thermostat or monitor to know if you are running too hot, etc? I saw something on here but I cannot find it again! Thanks for all the knowledge! |

Re: Roadrunner motor upgrade thermostat?
I saw in your other post that you ordered a Madjax torque controller with on the fly dash mount , that controller will warn you to prevent the motor from overheating. I have never had it happen with my cart but I don't have a roadrunner motor either. Good luck with all that work ...sounds like it will be a slick cart when you get done with it
