Tire rub
I have an Ezgo TXT.
I recently put on 20 inch tires. I put on new rear dual leaf springs at the same time. I have noticed that I get some tire rub on the front tires when making tighter turns. Doesn't happen all the time. I noticed it happens more frequently when on uneven ground and making a turn. Any ideas on what I can do? Thx Skip Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

Re: Tire rub
I will have to measure the tire.
It has been hard to figure out where it is rubbing. When I turn the wheel and look up under the cart without anyone in the cart...I can't see it rubbing. It must have something to do with the weight on the cart and any slight slope. Seems like I noticed it more with 2 adults in the front seat. Could this be the front leafs are worn out? Re: Tire rub
Do you have cut in headlights? I had 22" tires that were rubbing my headlights.

Re: Tire rub
Took another look with the tire rubbing.
Looks like it does rub on the underside of the cut in light housing. The cart is a 98 DCS TXT cart and very likely the front leafs have never been replaced. I replaced the rear leafs about 3 weeks ago. I purchased replacement front leafs and have not put them on yet. These have 2 metal springs. I went ahead and purchased HD leafs as well that are suppose to have 3 metal leafs. I don't want the cart to be higher in the front than the back. When replacing front leafs with standard replacements ... Do you get any additional height? If I went with the HD 3 leafs on the front... Would I get additional height or just stiffening the ride. Can anyone tell me their experience with replacing the front leafs? Thx Skip Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

Re: Tire rub
1" block lift under the front will probably help you out. Should even it out with the heavy springs in the rear.
