I've worked on hundreds too and see it a few times a year, something shorts internally on the wiper motor, leaking voltage to the frame and causing various issues.

Can somebody please describe the wiring of the DC changeover and DC Converter? Guy changing my battery pulled some wires loose. Currently DC Converter black is on the negative post of the battery, the red is pulled loose. I've attached a picture. Assumed (and it appears) the red from the converter should attach to the loose yellow, but this is not providing 12v to any accessories when I tried that. Also curious between which posts on the Changeover should I have continuity (and does everything have to be disconnected to test)?

I was wondering if someone would be able to take a picture of this connection for me (see attachment). I had a battery fail an the acid overflowed onto the connection destroying the plastic. Now I have 5 loose wires and want to make sure I connect them together correctly. Thanks.

I have no speed or OD, is that just a faulty speed sensor on the motor?
