Default Plastic spacer inside crankshaft end?

Hi all I am removing my clutch and read on here where I need a 3/4" fine thread 2 inch bolt and a piece of rod. However my cranckshaft have a plastic spacer in there. Does that just screw out so I can use the 3/4" bolt or is there a trick to removing the spacer too?
