Typical short-sighted corporate America. Shareholders and CEO’s want instant profits without looking to the future. Most CEO’s and top management jump from company to company every couple of years and don’t give a crap about how long term company health.
Recently Ford’s CEO Mark Fields was fired (despite record profits) because he was investing to much in self-driving and electric technology. It was also considered undesirable that he spent his entire career at Ford. |
