extending the muffler pipe

does extending the muffler exhaust pipe make any difference in the power of a 2001 cub car DS ?

thinking of doing dual pipes out the back

I wouldn't think that the exhaust matters as much as the intake does!
(as long as the pipe(s) are slightly larger, and don't create any flow restriction!)
