Four year old batteries and a DPI charger. I think that one of those batteries is very bad and the rest are close behind and that is causing your overall charging issues. If the charger can't get the pack to 'fully charged', it will keep on chugging. I think new batteries are needed.

Batteries are bad. They cannot be "pushed" high enough for the charger to shut off normally. Seen this before lots of times. I bet the charger can't even push them above 56v even after long charge. Likely not a charger problem.

Checked SG again today. Most everything was around 1.25, a couple were 1.23. Maybe they're all fair to good and that's creating the same issue as one or two bad ones as previously stated?

Cart54 have you had any luck figuring out what caused the high heat/long charge? Mine is doing the same and seems to be boiling the water from my batteries. Thanks!

Hmmm, seems like I'm having the same issue.

Long charge cycles, boiling out my water and a decrease in run time.

Very frustrating with very well maintained US Batteries that are only a little over 2 years old.
