Looky What I just got!
Picked up this XI875P over the weekend. All the electronics are bad or missing so I'll be starting from scratch in that area. Looking for you opinions. I know it wouldn't be worth it to a lot of folks, but I think its a great cart, and will suit my needs well. Even has a back seat. It will stay in the yard on my small 2 acre lot, on a ~10% grade. Hauling junk/dirt/fertilizer, and racing and riding the grandkids around.
So, how would you power it, if it were you? (and if anyone has a link to .pdf manual for it, please pass it on) Thx, John |

Scottyb has one of those that he's redone, that'd be where I'd start. He can get you all the parts you'll need also!

I had that cart Our current industrial is the next generation 952. I love it. Mine has the flat bed built all the way out and I put a few supports on to accommodate an stock roof. It's used almost daily
The older one like your is still working at my friends place. His land is very steep so we converted it to 48v with an Alltrax controller. |

Re: Looky What I just got!
The XI-875 family of carts went through several configurations over the years, so it would help to know roughly what model year the cart is to find out what the starting point is, but if it was mine, it would end up with a 48V battery pack, 2Ga cables, SR48500 controller, super-duty solenoid, high-torque motor, reversing contactor and more or less stock height tires with a modestly aggressive tread pattern.
If it is about 1998 or later, it has a ITS type throttle. Prior to that it had a pot-box type throttle. Prior to someplace around 1991 or so, it had a resistor drive with multiple solenoids selecting the resistor coils. Here are service manuals for the three types types above. I also have parts manuals for various configurations. |

That would be an awesome ride with a VC625, stakeboard sides, lift kit, and big off road tires. Like a miniature version of the trucks raced in the Paris to Dakar rally of days gone by.
