Default No Speedometer

I have a 2008 Emerge and the speedometer does not work. The backlight, turn signals (green lights) work and I believe the odometer works but haven’t paid much attention to that. Where can I start to troubleshoot the issue of no Speedometer reading?

Thanks.

If the odometer works and the speedometer doesn't it about has to be in the gauge.to track distance and communicate it to the head unit the sensor and wiring would have to be working.

The odometer does not work, just verified it. It stays on 451 miles. So speed sensor?

The speed sensor sends the signal, but whats Ive seen is if the sensor goes bad the cart will run about 4 mph and that's it.

Speeds are fine, so now the gauge is the issue?

If anyone else has this issue;

I replaced the speed sensor and now all is operating as it should. How I tested was pushing the Cart forward and reverse for a few feet and did not get beeping sound, this is done with the key in the off position. A BIG thanks to my local shop for the trick to troubleshoot it.
