Can I borrow some brains?
The drive shaft on this 92 medalist has come loose, breaking the bearing in the process, how do I remove any of the old bearing housing?

Re: Can I borrow some brains?
Wow!
Some romping and rolling on that axle. Remove the c-clip and pull bearing. May need inside bearing puller. I don't know if bearings are pressed on the axle like a Club Car. |

Re: Can I borrow some brains?
Problem started with bearing failure.
inner race is still on axle. 1) remove snap ring. 2) take long bolt and thread i nut and large washer then another nut . this will give you a tool to place behind outer bearing (stuck in axle shaft). 3) place edge of washer behind bearing race and use wrench and hammer to "Pull" bearing out... work around bearing and be patient (and slightly brutal) |
