Re: Problem Clone kit!
All this over a hose barb that is not the right size. That could have been solved by a trip to the hardware store or farm store for $2. Or used an adapter barb from 4 to 6mm. It took longer to make the phone call to complain about it.
It might be a good thing to get out of the lab and into the real world where we learn to adapt to minor issues without frustration or angst. |

Re: Problem Clone kit!
Another solution is to tap a barb fitting into the valve cover. If you use the search function upper right you may find some examples of this.

Re: Problem Clone kit!
Here's the most expensive part I could find to fix your problem. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-4-Hose-ID...-/123014264279
I thought engineers were overcomers = one who can work through a problem without having a melt down. Why are you using the old fuel pump on a new build? |

Re: Problem Clone kit!
Seems like a lot.pf effort over a vacuum barb... it took you longer to rant about how horrible the company is and complain about it than it would take to just fix it. There's got to be at least 10 different ways to overcome your "problem".
If you want bolt in, no modifications required then you should probably just get an OEM replacement motor. Unless there's something I am completely missing here? |
