I have never had to but you will need the programmer to get to the top speed of 19.5 once the passkey is used.

No this is a five minute job. And $150.00 is very high price.

The local dealer here is no longer an authorized dealer. I tried to get him to order parts for me and he refused, so I complained to corporate. They eventually inspected his location and found that he was in violation of a bunch of their requirements, so he was removed from the list of authorized dealers.

Need to get the removal done with my local Yamaha dealer. He bragged how they kept him listed even though he hadn’t done his part for 3 years. Unfortunately, I’m now the local RXV expert, and hIs mechanic is asking me questions..........

Being in Ezgo’s back yard we have a few around here. They are supposed to give them like a 25 mile circle but that’s not happening. One dealer friend of mine dropped his dealership and closed his doors because they wouldn’t honor that. Went to work for one of the others. They were selling carts to people cheaper than they could buy them as dealers and they still had to meet quota. Needless to say I can get parts

I found a guy that said he’d do it for $75 but he told me he’d have to hook it to a handheld. This was even after I told him all I wanted was 17mph. He told me it may not work if it’s a fleet car.
