The hd f/r has bigger contacts to pass the current, similar to upgrading your cables. You don’t want any weak spots in the entire high current path. If you were keeping it, I’d suggest the contactor, but I think guys will tell you the hd f/r will handle it. The contactor gives you push button direction change vs the rotary handle.

Just sharing a couple of progress photos from today. It used to be green till maaco got a holt of it. Now it's supposed to be the new Corvette blue. Don't have a corvette to compare it to but I like it, haha.

Thanks buddy! This pic is probably all I can get done today. I painted the roof black as well as sanded and painted some metal parts. I'm waiting on some black diamond rocker panels, need to order the controller, solenoid, and F&R, and will probably look for a new steering wheel.
