Possible solenoid problem on 2009 BBB XT
So someone gave me a BBB. Title and all. Of course it had not been kept under roof and the corrosion monster had attacked everything it could. Unbelievably, the 8 Interstate batteries still have some life after a little TLC. I have replaced every cable that needed it, cleaned every contact point but have been unsuccessful at getting it to do anything except shine its headlights. When the key is initially switched on, both control boxes flash 3x, then 4x continuously after that. The two solenoids make no sound whatsoever. My question is simply could this be a solenoid problem or something much more expensive like a controller? Any insight on this would be much appreciated as i will sink a little repair money into this thing if someone would honestly tell me it would be worth it.

Yes, OK I have heard of them. I don't know if this is the right forum for them.

This is the correct forum, but the BBB had a lot of issues and they did not release much info. There are members here with manuals and diagrams, just give them time to see this thread and respond.

The solenoids would be a good start. You should hear them click when key is turned to "ON" position.

Yep. the solenoids were the problem. Now the rear motor needs a brush set and I am having no luck finding any. It has 8 big brushes. Its a 2009 model Advanced Motor and Drives product 48v. Sure wish I had a lead on some brushes. Someone help me out.
