You really do not need a front or side, just a good wooden floor with some anchor points for straps

Don't know what rice coal is, But this frame was not built to haul much weight.
you can beef up the frame. Your axle is placed at the rear that will put more weight on the tongue and its not built for much weight. If you weld the sides on that would make the frame much stronger. Think you should check the capacity on the axle, springs and tires. Looks like your putting in the cross members, I would make sure there is going to be a cross member where the tires of the cart are going to set. The way your cross members are above the frame rails is going to cause an issue when you put the floor on. Sorry, don't mean to be negative. But better to see it now then have problems later. |

Good explanation! The requirement here in Quebec Canada for DOT requirements is 20% tongue load. Trailers tows beautifully at that rate even on our less than perfect roads.
