Started a rebuild on a rxv
I'm not real good at remembering to take before and after photos. But I'll try.
Thought of car theme. Bought some parts. Started with what I got. Phase 1 Cleanup Disassembled some Repainted windshield and roof struts Power washed roof Vacuumed and clean battery compartment Touched up paint inside under seat Replaced bolts, nuts, seat latches. Used dremel to sand/clean all battery connections Used h2o & baking soda to clean batteries Drilled holes for side mirrors and hole to run turn signal wire down windshiled frame Attached temperature sensor for ex-ray speedo to motor with silver tape When I get home I'll post a picture of the piece that gave me fits. Best thing. When I put the batteries back in, reattached the wiring, double check my work, and turn the key... it was all good! |

Re: Started a rebuild on a rxv
Here's the old and new. I think it's a battery strap.
Ouch. On the passenger side I scrapped my forearm with every @ 1/8 turn. |
