Default Roaring, rubbing sound from rear end

2014 ezgo rxv has lift all that. When rolling slow the cart makes a rubbing roaring sound at low speed it stops when speeding up and going at a nice pace. Maybe the bearing? Just changed all the gear oil few weeks back.

Just a guess. Electric RXVs have limited slip. Did you include friction modifier with your oil change?

one more guess---tire rub but that shouldn't go away with speed. All I got.

Tire rubbing on the radius at the rear bumper? This one has already been trimmed.

I'll check when I go back up seems this sound started after I got the new controller put in and almost like the brakes dragging or somethin. But the cart drives and acts fine just that rubbing sound.

Can you determine where noise comes from? Front or rear of cart.
Some aftermarket tires with aggressive tread patterns may be noisier depending on speed.
Noise change depending on load in cart or road surface?
Bearing noise usually gets louder with speed.
Are you sure noise came after new controller or just never noticed till after install.
Were any other mods done at same time of controller upgrade.
If brakes were dragging you should feel it along with dragging batteries down along with excessive heat from brakes.
Just few things to check.

Just a thought. Maybe you have a rock or something inside a drum?

There are no brake drums or wheel brakes on an RXV, regen braking only. The electrical motor brake unit is a parking brake only. The aftermarket brake kit available is front disc brakes only.
