Default Are my Batteries toast

So.. swapped out the stock motor with the Desperado from PQ.. speed went from 12 to 23mph but i've noticed a couple things, first, after a mile or so, I looked under the seat just to check things out and the battery cables linking all the batteries together are pretty hot to the touch. however the main lead going to the solenoid and the alltrax are cooler. 2nd and most importantly after about 3 miles the voltage dropped to about 34 volts.
I know that Im supposed to lose range bc of this motor sucking so much power, but this is'nt right. Right?

I checked all the batteries individually after a good charge and Im getting 6.10 to 6.17
Deeparado PQ motor
Alltrax
heavy duty FNR
Heavy duty Solenoid
2 guage cables all around

Check the pack voltage (total). What condition and gauge are the battery cables?

Not sure what you mean. What is the voltage after the charger shuts off? How old are the batteries?

did you replace those pencil thin motor wires when you upgraded? You need 2 ga wiring on everything. HEAT is energy that should have been used to move you cart not to make a portable heater

Fyi: The "6.10 to 6.17" you stated is less than 70% capacity. Are you saying the 37.5 pack total is when the charger is running?

Before i say a battery pack is toast i make sure that the health & Condition of the pack is at its best. 0 corrosion, new or young battery cables of the correct size. Fully charge & SP test. However i had good success using a discharge or draw down test, a bad battery will show up within a few minutes.
