Converter B- goes to battery pack B-. And converter B+ & activate go as shown. If you want to be totally sure there is no power at all when key is off, put both on terminal labeled Activate (could be a little harder on the solenoid over time, "hard switching" the converter every time).

Cgtech - I just saw your earlier post about connecting to the larger terminals (I must’ve missed it - looking on the phone is tricky!) Just to be completely sure, I have to connect the my voltage reducer to the switched terminal, which is labeled activate in your diagram?

How could I verify I’m not screwing everything up? By probing the B+ terminal and the battery’s Ground terminal? Then it my MM shows 48 V then I know the other terminal is the switched terminal? Thanks again cgtech!

I work at ezgo dealer, and I verified from your photo, I recognize the configuration. Both B+ & Activate wires can go in the solenoid terminal labeled Activate.

So I attach the yellow wire from my reducer to the terminal labeled activate? Thanks cgtech!

I meant the green wire goes to the activate terminal. The yellow wire would go to the b+ terminal.

Hi cgtech. So I finally got around to doing the repair and found four wires connected to the current voltage reducer. Two of them go to the battery, one of them go to a fuse box and the other is ground for the third wire. I believe the wire going to the fuse box is positive for the lights. Is that right?

Should be. But there is no frame ground allowed. Run B- to every device.

Understood. So I just want to connect lights to the new reducer now. There are two wires in my old reducer (besides the +/- 48 V). One connected to the fuse box. I believe I connect that wire to the red wire in my new reducer (I uploaded a wiring instructions earlier). I’m not sure what to do with the other wire in my old reducer.
