Default trying to get more power out of 36vdc cart for campsite

I have a 2001 ezgo Textron 36vdc with forward reverse by legs.
I plan on using it a campground where it will sometime be going off
Road and have to drive long distances. When I look up how to increase speed it shows a plug, but seams to be for a different cart. Any suggestions would be
Appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Here's a great place to research and purchase upgrades!

The plug will not work for that cart with the switch by your legs. The only way to really speed up a series cart is to go 48 volts or replace the motor with a speed motor. Both will require a controller upgrade.

Will work? Not on a series cart.
