Reed switch bypass. Sometime in the mid 2000s, I think, EZGO stopped using the reed switch. Yours might not look like this.

Thumbs up Re: 2006 EZGO TXT PDS just stopped

At 6.2 batteries are barely holding a charge. 37.2 is just barely charged. I be willing to bet your setting have it shut down until you charge it up good.

You have a min & max setting's for battery voltage in the software for the controller. KSI has a setting to that if it doesn't see it, it will turn it off. When you step on the gas the battery voltage will drop and with bigger tires it will take it longer to come back up.

Thanks for clarity, kernel. I do not have a reed switch according to photo above. Red wire is connected directly to white wire post. Did I mention that my solenoid is not reacting either. No clicking when pushing down accelerator. Gotta do some more looking here in few min.

What does the LED on the controller do when you turn the keyswitch on?
Should flash green four times and then go to steady green.

---------------
In your original post, you said the revers beeper and the battery didn't work. That points at battery pack voltage not getting to the keyswitch, so wanted to check voltage at the starting point, the reed switch which connects the J1 Pin-4.

The next place it goes to/through is the Run/Tow switch.

Correct JohhnieB, No reverse horn, no battery voltage indicator. Just went out and turned the key, no lights at all on the controller. It was charging so I unplugged to check controller light. Going to fully charge again to get good battery readings.

With the reed switch bypassed, the controller will power up when the charger is connected to the cart, but probably not a good idea to do so.

The drawing I attached to post#2 shows the voltage paths through a stock PDS controller and through an XCT with one exception.
To power up a stock PDS controller the Run/Tow switch has to be in Run, the F/R switch has to be in either F or R and the keyswitch has to be ON, while only the Run/Tow in Run and Key ON is all that is needed to power up an XCT controller.

The symptoms indicate the voltage isn't getting to the keyswitch.

Could this be the problem? Looks blown. Hard to tell from pic but I can see it separated with a flashlight. If it is, should I get the 400 ANN fuse to replace it?

It looks blown to me. Do you have a multi meter or access to one? A continuity test will tell for sure.

Yep....zero change in meter when put to fuse. Think that’s the culprit.

Depends on how it is wired but definitely needs to be replaced. If you have like a 30 fuse you could use that just to see if the controller will power up.
