Brown came today as scheduled
Just got my D&D 500 amp programable controller today, hot dog!
But I want to do some test runs with the stock setup real quick before I change it out. Hopefully I'll git er done before nxt wknd. Maybe this will carry me till I decide on the motor. Speaking of which if someone wants to donate $500 I'll get the D&D motor and show Extractor how to do wheelies Sorry Extractor, I couldn't help it |

Re: Brown came today as scheduled
Well, things have been busy trying to stay busy and I just got around to putting the controller in the other day.
I didn't get to do the test runs with old equip as I had intended to.:-( The batteries got to where they wouldn't last anyway and it was time to hit the woods, so I changed controller out and upgraded the batteries from 6- 8v to 8- 6v and I went with Dekka GC45. Top speed on dirt is 13.8 mph but I havn't hooked it up to the laptop to see what can be changed, but the torque difference, Wow. I would like to hit 20 but the torque is more important. Still braking in the batteries so I don't know yet what the longevity will be. |

Why would you go from 8volt batteries to 6volt batteries?

Re: Brown came today as scheduled
Well it wasn't brown but Fed Ex brought my new blue motor yesterday and I wasn't expecting it till next week.
I finished off, burning up, my stock motor the other day and ordered a new one from Imaginative Manfg. earlier this week. I eventually intend to make it 4wd so I bought the motor in prep for that. And wouldn't you guess I'm in the middle of other projects this wknd and shouldn't mess with it. |
