Default 2000 TXT accelerator cable

What type of connector is at the accelerator cable end that connects to governor? My end has a round loop that fits on rod but don't know how keep connector on rod. Thanks, Tom

I think you are going to have to add a photo to better show what you have so we can better give you support.

Yes it does. Wish I could draw on your drawing. The connection I'm talking about is end of cable that connects to right angle bend on rod thru spring. Thanks

I think you might be talking about the cable itself ?
Is the part you need number 1 on my picture or 2 ? or maybe 3 ?

I think it is called a push nut. 3/16th. I have made something that would work. It don't take much to hold it on.

. Home Depot probably has something that would hold it and in my case I just find something in the shop that will work.

I am showing the Part Number 12064G3 in my manual. Google it and you will see what it looks like

That's what I needed to hear. I got some push nuts and locking collars at store today and going to install tomorrow. Just wondered if that was enough to hold cable on rod. Thanks for your trouble. Tom
